Stowe is incomparably beautiful. The main School building, once the mansion of the Dukes of Buckingham and Chandos, is set in 750 acres of landscape garden and parkland. However, despite being steeped in the historic splendour and heritage of its unparalleled location, we have always been a forward-looking School.
The glories of the past serve to inspire rather than overawe modern Stoics. Our founders sought to establish a school which would lead the great public school movement into its next phase.
